GloGerm Gel is the everyday choice for handwashing training. Rub a small amount on the hands like lotion, ask the group to wash as they normally would, then check their hands under UV light. Any glow left behind shows the spots that were missed, which makes the gel a simple way to show hand hygiene technique.
The gel is water-based, so it won't stain, and it washes off with normal handwashing. That makes it a good fit for classrooms, kitchens and training rooms where clothing matters. The gel contains soy oil, so check for soy allergies before applying it to skin, and read the safety data sheet before your first session.
Gel only glows under a long-wave UV-A lamp. GermWise sells the UVL 1004 (20 LED) and the UVL 1007 (50 LED), and a 365nm lamp gives the clearest glow. A kit that bundles gel, powder and a lamp removes the guesswork.
